The Zacatecas State Peace and Security Commission has identified six of the seven bodies found a few days ago in the municipality of Tepezalá, Aguascalientes; all of them were from Zacatecas.
On May 1st, the discovery of seven bodies in the state of Zacatecas was reported. Initial reports indicated that the victims—five men and two women—were found on the side of the road, with their hands tied and wearing only underwear.
Over the weekend, Zacatecas authorities identified six victims, all from the state. A statement detailed that only one of them had been reported missing.
They also added that criminal groups circulated missing person posters, but these are fraudulent because they were never issued by the authorities; it is unknown where the information on the fake posters came from or if it is even true.
