Civil Protection of Aguascalientes has warned about a drop in temperatures in the coming days due to the arrival of cold front No. 24 and the fourth winter storm that will affect much of the country.
These meteorological conditions are expected to last from December 30th, 2020 to January 1, 2021, so that the minimum temperatures in the state will be below 0 ° Celsius (32 Fahrenheit).
In addition to warning about the expected frosts, they have mentioned that there are conditions for the fall of snow or sleet in a great part of the state territory, especially in the northern municipalities and in mountain areas.
As part of the information released by the local authorities of Aguascalientes, they have invited the population to take the necessary precautions, such as the use of warm clothing, especially at night and at dawn.
The Winter Season Contingency Plan has installed shelters for homeless people, which have all the precautions to avoid COVID-19 infections, in addition to the delivery of blankets and coats.
