In Aguascalientes, it’s still possible to find places that tell part of its history without words. Some of these spaces were, at one time, key to the city’s development, such as the old railway facilities, which have now taken on a new purpose.
Over time, these sites ceased to be solely industrial and became areas open to the public, where history coexists with recreational activities. Their structures, gardens, and cultural offerings have made them popular destinations.
One of the most representative is Parque Tres Centurias, a place that brings together historical memory, nature, and community in a single space. Located in the Barrio de la Estación (Station District), it is one of the most beautiful parks in Aguascalientes.
What are the most emblematic fountains in Aguascalientes? The most beautiful are here.
The architecture that reflects the past, the trees that provide shade and a cool atmosphere, as well as its proximity to the railway tracks and the Railway Museum, have made it a favorite among visitors.
Arches, carved cherubs, and ancient orchards: this is the impressive Hacienda de Cieneguilla in Aguascalientes.
On the western esplanade of the park, which opened to the public in March 2003, is one of its main attractions: the Dancing Fountains.

Since the park’s opening, hundreds of families came to watch the water dance to the rhythm of the music, while colorful lights completed the spectacle. However, they stopped working almost two years ago.
This was due to natural wear and tear on the equipment from daily use. However, maintenance was complicated because the equipment that allows the unique movement of the water was manufactured abroad; therefore, the necessary parts or replacements could not be obtained quickly.
For this reason, the Tres Centurias Complex Trust opted to restructure the mechanism so that they could function again.
Have you ever walked through Plaza Fundadores without knowing what was there before? An elegant hotel, a historic movie theater, and a tragedy

For just over a week now, visitors to Parque Tres Centurias in the afternoons have been able to enjoy this spectacular display of light, music, and movement.
The Dancing Fountains are activated every afternoon, on the hour, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday. Each display lasts 15 minutes.
Parque Tres Centurias is located on Calle 28 de Agosto, in the Barrio de la Estación neighborhood. Admission is free.
