During the first half of 2025, Aguascalientes reached a cumulative value of $6.464 billion in exports, concentrated mainly in transportation equipment, electronics, agribusiness, textiles, clothing, agriculture, and livestock, a figure that reflects the state’s economic dynamism and its competitive integration into the global market.
Governor Tere Jiménez emphasized that products made in Aguascalientes are recognized for their quality and for being backed by local talent: “We are firmly committed to local companies; we promote their competitiveness through innovation, job creation, and strengthening foreign trade.”
She added that export growth positions Aguascalientes as a driver of opportunities for businesses and citizens.
HIGH-IMPACT MARKETS
Esaú Garza de Vega, head of the Secretariat of Economic Development, Science, and Technology (Sedecyt), explained that the main export destinations include the United States, Canada, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, China, Spain, Belgium, France, India, South Korea, Brazil, Colombia, and Chile.
This diversification reflects international confidence in the state’s products and its ability to compete in different industrial sectors.
RESULTS OF A STRATEGY
The accumulated value of exports so far under the current administration amounts to $36.3 billion, a result of policies aimed at strengthening economic development and the internationalization of local companies.
These figures confirm the impact of a strategy focused on sustained growth, innovation, and trade integration with the world’s major markets.
