Land access to the state of Aguascalientes is constantly monitored by specialized personnel from the State Public Security Secretariat (SSPE) as part of the “Blindaje Aguascalientes” Security and Justice Plan, which seeks to guarantee peace and tranquility in our state.
Strengthening security at the five access points to the state and on the state highway network is a key part of our strategy, said the head of the SSPE, Antonio Martínez Romo.
The surveillance maintained by personnel from the State Police Highway Division is complemented by the support provided by the Highway Emergency application, which allows immediate assistance to those traveling on the highways that cross the state, said Martínez Romo.
State Police members participate in ongoing training at the University of Police and Security Sciences (UNPOL).
Among the topics covered are human rights, mediation and criminal analysis, leadership, and others that provide them with tools to address citizen security needs.
That’s why our State Police has the technological resources and trained operational personnel to assist and guide those traveling on the state’s roads, the head of the SSPE concluded.
