Thanks to Seguro Popular Aguascalientes, an initiative promoted by Governor Teresa Jiménez, families in the state have access to free, quality health services, including medical consultations, dental services, eye exams, laboratory tests, mammograms, medications, eyeglasses, and more.
In addition, Seguro Popular Aguascalientes now includes kidney screening, available for people 15 years and older. This simple test allows for the early detection of potential kidney diseases for prompt treatment. It also offers ultrasound services for pregnant women or to detect various health conditions and provide a more accurate diagnosis.
All these services are available at the eight Seguro Popular Aguascalientes clinics located in the Palomino Dena neighborhood of the capital city, as well as in the municipalities of San Francisco de los Romo, Pabellón de Arteaga, Cosío, Tepezalá, San José de Gracia, Calvillo, and in the community of Villa Juárez, in Asientos. At these locations, you can also apply for assistance from the Public Welfare Institute, such as wheelchairs, walkers, canes, hearing aids, glasses, hip and knee prostheses, among others.
The State Secretary of Health, Rubén Galaviz Tristán, invited people without social security to enroll in Seguro Popular Aguascalientes, an alternative that guarantees access to free, quality medical services.
He explained that all you need to do is visit any of the eight Seguro Popular Aguascalientes clinics located throughout the state; the location of each can be found at the following link: https://seguro.aguascalientes.gob.mx. Those interested can also register at the Rincón de Romos and Pabellón de Arteaga hospitals, as well as at the De la Mujer and Tercer Milenio hospitals in the capital.
The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The Secretary of Health specified that those interested only need to present a valid official ID, a birth certificate, proof of address no older than six months, and the Solutions Card (if they do not have one, they can apply for one at any Seguro Popular clinic, Health Center, or ISSEA hospital, in the Archives area). For more information, call 070 or write to the Solutions Chat at 449 469 98 98.
