Federal, State, and Municipal authorities and paramedics from various corporations arrived at the scene of the accident.
On the morning of this Thursday, November 17th, the Eagle 1 Helicopter, belonging to the Aguascalientes State Public Security Secretariat, crashed. Porfirio Sánchez Mendoza, the head of the corporation, passed away along with four other members of the crew.

The first reports indicate that four other people died as a result of the accident, including two captains and two gunners. At the moment the causes that caused the crash of the aircraft are unknown.
It was around 08:00 AM that the aircraft took off from the IESPA facilities next to clinic number 3 of the Mexican Institute of Social Security, in the municipality of Jesús María, Aguascalientes.
