The industrial dynamism of Aguascalientes was once again reflected in the most recent indicators from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), registering a monthly growth of 3.8 percent in November 2025, confirming the state’s positive performance compared to the national average.

According to the Monthly Indicator of Industrial Activity by State (IMAIEF), the state’s industrial activity also showed an increase of 3.2 percent compared to November 2024, consolidating a growth trend in the main productive sectors.

Governor Tere Jiménez emphasized that these results are the product of the joint effort between workers, businesses, and government. “We are committed to productivity, quality, and competitive talent to turn challenges into opportunities,” she stated, referring to the impetus that has strengthened the state’s economic development.

He also reiterated that the state administration will continue working in coordination with the productive sector to consolidate Aguascalientes as one of the country’s leading industrial development hubs and a strategic point for strengthening value chains.

For his part, the head of the Secretariat of Economic Development, Science and Technology (Sedecyt), Esaú Garza de Vega, reported that between January and November 2025, industrial activity in Aguascalientes accumulated a growth of 1.9 percent.

This result contrasts with the national performance during the same period, in which industrial activity registered a decrease of 1.6 percent. The official noted that the four sectors that comprise this activity—construction, manufacturing, mining, and energy generation—are reporting growth in the state that exceeds the national average, demonstrating the strength and diversification of the local production base.
