The four members of a family died in a car when it was trapped during the storm registered last night in the Mirador de las Culturas subdivision, in Aguascalientes, presumably due to carbon monoxide poisoning.

At 9 pm last night, municipal police officers found them lifeless on Cultura Otomí street, at the intersection with El Cardenal street. The vehicle was stranded by the flood.
“On board a white Derby vehicle was an unconscious male person and a 27-year-old woman on the sidewalk, in addition to the fact that two minors had been moved to a home by residents of the place, due to the above, the site was immediately attended by uniformed members of the Preventive Police from the Terán Norte Detachment, as well as paramedics”.
Lifeguards from the Municipal Civil Protection Coordination certified the absence of vital signs of the man who was in the driver’s seat of the vehicle.
The neighbors took the children out of the car to give them first aid. According to preliminary data, they died from carbon monoxide inhalation.
Personnel from the Homicide Group and the Expert Investigation Directorate of the Aguascalientes State Attorney General’s Office were in charge of removing the bodies and later transferring them to the Forensic Medical Service to carry out the legal necropsy.
