Glyphosate, Vitamin D Deficiency, and COVID Severity

Have you seen the increased number of reports about the important role of Vitamin D in avoiding severe COVID symptoms?

Do you wonder why some people die from COVID and others have almost no symptoms or very mild symptoms?

We wanted to know too…

We already know that glyphosate, one of our major focuses for the past 8 years, is a chelator and can grab onto and make unavailable the vital nutrients of any living thing it touches. We suspected glyphosate, made by Bayer, is a major factor in why we humans are widely Vitamin D deficient in the first place. So we asked a glyphosate expert about the role of this most widely used herbicide in the world. Glyphosate has been found on thousands of food samples, breast milk, urine, rain, and drinking water. Could glyphosate be playing a role in the deficiency of Vitamin D and therefore contributing to death around the world from COVID?

Glyphosate Diminishes Vitamin D Production

MIT Senior Research Scientist Dr. Stephanie Seneff has this to say about Vitamin D and COVID:

“Vitamin D is synthesized in the skin, and then it is transported to the liver. The liver takes it up and converts it to 25-hydroxyvitamin D. The
liver then releases the modified vitamin D, which then goes to the kidneys, where it is further modified to 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D.  It’s the 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D that is the active form (acts like a hormone to influence cellular metabolic policy). Both the liver and the kidneys use enzymes called cytochrome P450 enzymes (CYP enzymes) to modify vitamin D.

Multiple studies have shown that glyphosate suppresses CYP enzyme activity.  This would prevent vitamin D from getting activated.

It doesn’t surprise me that vitamin D deficiency is linked to an increased risk of getting COVID, because vitamin D is very important for
maintaining strong innate immunity.

It may even be the case that vitamin D deficiency is a marker for chronic glyphosate exposure, and that’s why there’s such a strong
correlation with susceptibility to COVID-19. [and also why we have an epidemic in vitamin D deficiency today].

When they measure vitamin D levels, they typically measure 25-hydroxyvitamin D (after it has been activated by the liver).

I believe that accumulated lifetime glyphosate exposure, if you could measure it, would correlate very strongly with the risk of catching COVID-19, the risk of having an acute case, and the risk of dying from it.”

The US has 4% of the world’s population and 20% of the COVID-19 cases.

The US also consumes 20% of the world’s total glyphosate.

New studies show that Vitamin D deficiency quadruples the death rate from COVID.

We cannot encourage our readers enough to supplement with a good quality Vitamin D as directed. AND to reduce your consumption of glyphosate in order to increase your body’s ability to produce Vitamin D naturally…by going out into the sun without sunblock for 20-30 minutes a day.

Shame on the media for not making this simple solution first and foremost in their reporting!

We the people must be the ones to share this crucial information. We appreciate your partnership in doing so!

Glyphosate-based herbicides are also Endocrine Disrupting

The EPA has recently admitted that over 300 million pounds of glyphosate-based herbicides are used every year in the united states, 280 million pounds on our food and feed crops. Glyphosate herbicide herbicides, known as Roundup, Ranger Pro, and 750 other brand names, are sprayed directly on GMO crops and on nonorganic crops as a drying agent. The EPA found that they harm 93% of endangered species and 97% of their critical habitats. If they are harming them at such a high rate, what are they doing to us?

Foods such as oats, wheat (cereal, bread, pizza, etc), peas, beans, soy, chips, snacks, and eggs have shown to contain glyphosate residues at high levels. So unless you are eating organic or grow your own food, you are likely eating glyphosate with every meal.

The daily chronic exposure of low doses of glyphosate has already been shown to be an endocrine disruptor. When the endocrine system is not working properly, the production and regulation of insulin and other hormones is affected. For example, ingestion of glyphosate based herbicides has been reported in severe pancreatitis. The pancreas is essential for the production of insulin. Harm to the endocrine system and organs like the pancreas disrupt insulin and other hormones, which can lead to diabetes and obesity. It has been widely reported that people with diabetes and obesity face a higher risk of death from COVID than those without.

Therefore we think everyone in America…and beyond…would benefit especially right now, from switching to organic food to avoid glyphosate-based herbicides. We understand it seems like an added cost that many cannot afford. But if at all possible, buy organic, especially any eggs, chickpea, grain, and soy products. Reducing your intake of glyphosate is likely to have a hugely beneficial impact on your overall health. We suspect, due to Dr. Seneff’s insights on Vitamin D production, the available science on glyphosate, and studies showing endocrine disruption that if you go organic there will be multiple ways in which your risk of severe symptoms and death from COVID will be reduced.

Due to increased changes to algorithms on social media our reach is being compromised. We depend on people like you to get the truth out to the public. Please share this article widely.
