Zacatecas and Chicago will be closer than ever: there will be direct flights between these two cities, two days a week.
Every Tuesday and Saturday there will be departures to Chicago O’Hare, non-stop flights under 4 hours duration.
Zacatecas will connect an air destination with Chicago from December 19 to January 9, 2021, according to the Secretary of Tourism, Eduardo Yarto. This seasonal flight allows for a non-stop trip in less than four hours; improving connectivity and communication considerably during this holiday period.
This is the second time that the Zacatecas International Airport connects these two cities during the December celebrations. Through a statement, it was indicated that there will be two weekly flights to this destination: Tuesdays and Saturdays.
The airline that will be in charge of this trajectory is Viva Aerobús, the head of the Ministry of Tourism indicated that all health guidelines will be followed on each flight as established by the health authorities and national and international airports. This in order to prevent the spread of the virus.
The prices to be handled will be competitive and will offer all the comfort that is possible on a non-stop flight. The site with which it is connected is the O’Harel International Airport, located northeast of Chicago.
The aircraft destined to carry out these flights are the Airbus A320, which have capacity for 186 passengers. The flight departure from O’Hire is at 11:30 am, and the arrival time at the Zacatecas airport is at 3:35 pm.
In addition to the obvious benefits, this route encourages a greater influx of tourism in the city, which due to the current circumstances is developed responsibly, taking care of the health of citizens.
